I guess that most of us Cub drivers have experienced the upper door dropping into our face when shooting photos etc.
At Oshkosh in 1990 i came upon a Super-Cub N3698A which had a very neat lock to secure the upper door in open position. When moving arm on inside of door 180 degrees, into locked position, two pins stick out of the lock and keep the spring in the wing together and prevent the door from dropping.
Does anyone out there know where to find this lock?
Unfortunately, the picture is not very sharp so the name of the maker cannot be read, but it ends with "R+D".
