SULPHUR SPRINGS, TEXAS, JULY 18, 2007 - American Legend Aircraft Company announced today the availability of its AirVenture 2007 Special Edition Legend Cub. This aircraft features freebies normally sold as optional equipment and intended to enhance the Legend Cub flying experience. The Special Edition Legend Cub is available now through the close of AirVenture Oshkosh 2007.
The Special Edition Legend Cub incorporates the most popular configuration options chosen by Legend Cub customers. These include a J-3 style open cowl with a 100-horsepower Continental O-200 engine and a full Garmin avionics package with a panel-mounted GPSMAP 496. To sweeten the offering, American Legend is equipping the Special Edition Legend Cub with a collection of comfort, performance, convenience and safety options for FREE.
The free equipment on the Special Edition Legend Cub includes an upgraded leather interior will full-width aft seat, a composite (lightweight and quiet) propeller, an air/oil separator, and 406 MHz next-generation ELT. All totaled, these popular options normally cost $3,685. Customers can expect delivery of their Legend Cub approximately 90 days from the date their order is placed. However, there are a limited number of available production slots for this Special Edition Legend Cub and orders must be placed before the close of AirVenture Oshkosh 2007.
