Inspection cover problems

I have just noticed a couple of problems on my 46 J3. The bottom inspection cover near the tail is missing. There is no ring for the round cover to be kept in place. Is there is ring with perhaps an aluminum or plastic backing one can attach to the fabric without doping or gluing to hold the cover in place? The inspection cover on the left side near the stab jackscrew has the same problem.

Nope. Takes doping and gluing. A trivial exercise. I have started to use aluminum rings, sandwiched in fabric.

Look inside the tail for the old ring. Make sure to get it out. Bob's got the ticket.

Thanks for the replies. It doed seem that a ring with a plastic backing so as to be able to bend it to fit throught the hole, and attached with screws might be a wothwhile design......
