    What a great day, not a bump all the way up and back. Thanks to David and his wife for having us, and to our event coordinator Glenn for letting us all know about the fly-ins. It was not the same without Peter taking movies of everything we did wrong. Scott

    Cooperstown Cheeseman;

    Any grand plans on the radar this SAT? I know where there is a yellow CarbonCub that is calling my name. I might be in Western mass tomorrow and wouldnt be a stretch to fly around Sat with you and the cool kids, I have to do a couple things on 8CC anyway

    A bit late to get this posted but,
    Amazing as it appears the weather gods seem to be smiling upon us for a change. The Northeast Vt Chapter of EAA will be having their “third annual” skiplane flyin on this Sat 2/23 fro 10 AM to 2 PM. Members not flying can meet at CDA at 8:30 and caravan to Bruces camp on Crystal Lake, Barton VT. Hot dogs and coffee will be available.

    Weather in the NE was a 10 today. I came home on fumes and still needed a sunset fix to close an awesome day

    No gas left in the cub so.....jumped on my 30 year old long track and made the rounds. The hangar at DeRonda where we had many TW flyins

    My float pond in the background

    Lucky to live in such a magical playground. Looking North

    Glenn,

    I saw this come through after the wind kept turning on the outside lights last night, and figured today would be good day to stay grounded. In sharp contrast to Saturday's glass.
    I will say if you're foolish enough to fight mother nature, something stable and responsive like that would be a good weapon to choose.

    The mid day Cape air flight into Rutland flew over the house in an odd direction. I went online quickly to see the flight path, he started with a normal IFR approach from the north but soon accepted that a 42Kt crosswind was not something to do with a C402, so he did a missed approach, a 270 or two and a visual into 33. His flight was 20 min late getting here from Boston, normally less than 50 min air time, but I bet he got back down there quick enough.

    A rare Northrop YC-125. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northrop_YC-125_Raider There used to be several of them parked out in the middle of the Miami Florida airport back in the 60s and early 70s.
