Opening the new EZ turn Tempest filter

Anyone else having a conflict with their can cutter and the new Tempest EZ turn filters? The rolled edge on the filter hits the roller on my cutter preventing the complete opening of the can. Did not have a problem with the old style filters which I do not think are available any longer?
I know it looks like the can is open but it is not.

cutter bushing looks loose/crooked to me.... no experience with that model...

Yeah, I see the same - We use the Airwolf cutter. I have cut a half dozen open so far with no issue

I use the BB products FC-2000 and have had no problems. Great cutter

I use snips, starter hole via unibit or screwdriver & hammer.

me too, some tool like that.... but i wear gloves now.... slipped once... bloody mess...

I cut more filters than I like. The cutter makes it way easier. Had to go to the ER and get some stitches when I slipped cutting the paper cartridge apart. I too wear a glove now when doing that.
