I saw that news report and wondered what a Flux Capacitator was. Thank you for this.
Wasn't that woman an embarrassment! Was she making it up as she went along or did someone feed it to her. The NTSB was at the scene all day doing an investigation when it happened. While there is never anything cheerful about an airplane crash, at least the continual annoying droning of the 182 climbing over my house all day long has stopped.
I was at that airport in the morning trying to find out what happened two days before when the 7AC took the life of the pilot and severely crippled his brother. It appears that there was some sort of engine trouble which distracted the pilot leading to a stall which turned into a one turn left spin/spiral to the ground off the left side of the runway. Poor fellow never had a chance.
ps The pilot of the 7AC was a good friend of Seaworthy's.
I just looked at this video. It has been drastically shortened from the original which was a long dissertation of sad aviation humor by a blond happening. I think that her bosses cut out the bulk of the report for the internet.
