Fun flying as usual. Thanks to Glenn for giving me the low and slow tour in his Cub.

Thanks for the photos Emilie, those are great. I’m going to steal that middle one.

Pete, if you want an original copy instead of a web cut, just let us know. ...the original may not be much better?

The first photo was from our flight to the WAD Friday after work.

I took the Bonanza photo to taunt a friend who has moved to FL and now flies a Bonanza. He keeps talking about coming back up for Alton Bay. I suggested he should come up for the WAD. He would fit right in. In years past, he kept a C180 at Epping for a time.

So... Isaac has this shirt that he really likes. I've been wondering how one is supposed to "read" it? What is it "saying"?

We also made it to the new RAF strip on South Hero island in Northern Lake Champlain. Allenholm (VT26) orchard strip is awesome and a great place to stop and pick some apples or get s bite to eat. I only took one picture so if others took some post them.
This trees was so loaded with huge apples that they were stressing the tree

just saw pictures of snow and heavy rime ice on top of Mt Washington from last night---I kept telling the guys at the WAD on Friday how lucky they were to be able to fly around the summit in a CUB type aircraft---wind was 23 MPH--- with a temp inversion (52*) no less---gotta seize the moment and we did---Capt Cub

You better come get those yellow skis!

I recall reading about a hang gliding expedition to Mt Washington. They followed the weather for four years until it happened.

We had a new visiter this year, Clyde Smith was traveling through the area and stopped in a couple times and had a great time hanging out with us.

For those non-FB pilots, I posted an example of what would have happened if CarbonCub Joe had flown over Mt. Washington with us.

    Hello,

I'm searching for a guy who attended WAD; first name Raj, flying a Husky from the KOXC area.

    Thanks,
    Ryan

Years ago Yankee Magazine published an article about a Cub that landed dozens of times on top in support of some scientific mission. Don't recall anything else.

Ryan are you going to sell him that property in Colebrook? I see a WAD stop in our future.

When I started all we had were 100cc 10hp Yamaha go kart engines. 10hp meant 2 circuits of the property to gain enough to escape over the trees and get somewhere. Now 100c is a ho-hum RC plane.
