Who are you guys using for mounting a Garmin 660 to the V Brace with a bare wires connection? I don’t have Panel space and don’t want it obstructing the forward view?

How are you going to mount it to the.v brace without obstructing visibility?

I’m hoping to mount if from the left windshield Brace

The older 496 can be mounted with RAM parts and not obstruct the view of anything but cowling.

Sit in the plane and move the GPS around until you find the spot that works best. Ram mounts usually work but the stock mount some metal and adell clamps will also work. I prefer my GPS center under the V bar.

The biggest problem is "all them wires" - has anybody successfully shortened the antenna wires for the weather input?
