Got my first-ever ski flight in today. Did a few laps at the airport, then went out to play. Didn't really need skis since there was basically zero snow, but it still was ridiculously fun! Have a lot to learn and deeper snow will certainly be a different game, but I sure am excited about the potential for new adventures!
It's evolving into the Piper Cherokee with the belly stringers it saw once. Probably not but maybe there's a valid reason.

Good question, and I don't have a good answer. Stiffener there for some reason, they were there when I bought the plane. I hadn't really thought much about them, but recently I have had several 170 and 180 guys ask about them. I will do a little more research.

Are they in the same rivet line as the tunnel above. Maybe the thin skin rivet holes are wallowed out and that was a way to fix it.Good question, and I don't have a good answer. Stiffener there for some reason, they were there when I bought the plane.
