Ha you pay more attention to my neighborhood than I do!
That is the site of the old National Fireworks Ordinance Company which made munitions during and after WW2. I learned to fly across the street at Clark Airport. Mel Clark owned the fireworks company and his son still lives next door. Mel had a beautiful Stinson 108-3 which he bought new. There used to be some old F8F Bearcats there which we youngsters used to play pilot in. They were cut up for scrap long ago. The current owner, a large local contractor is cleaning up the area and the pond. In the process he is finding a lot of unexploded munitions. So they are disposing of them on the site periodically. That pond is going to be drained so they can clean it out. There have been rumors for years that there is an airplane in there, we will see. A friend and member here has dibs on it.
