So, the Carbon Cub FX-3 worked its way to the top of my Christmas list after hearing the pireps, but mostly, I hope all of us in the SuperCub.Org family have a fun, safe, and healthy 2018!

    What's on your list?

    sj

    P.S. Thanks to Mattias

There is that one cub that often says "Santa" on it, and it would fit just fine in the parking area on my new strip...

But after the year I have had I wish for the following:

Other SC.Org friends follow Bill Rusk's example and make your dreams happen- and continue to share with us

My friends and family stay healthy

We retain our freedom to express ourselves, especially Capt. John and Joe with smoke over our heads in displays of airmanship, (Joe maybe not so high- as usual)

and most of all, my circle of friends continues to enlarge, and I get to meet more you you face to face!

(If Santa is feeling extra gratuitous, maybe a captain's upgrade so my friend is no longer know as FoR!)
I don't know where you've been me lad, but I see you won first Prize!

Heather Robillard posted a link on Facebook to a "Selk'bag", which looks to be just the ticket for back seat passengers, like Julie, who often complains about how cold it is back there...despite rear seat heating.

It has been suggested that this may reduce the level of the high pitched whining sound that comes from the rear of the airplane...

New Mountain Hardware big puffy coat. Old one has bunch of tape holding feathers in, New Bose headset, Digital level. I try to keep things easy for the wife by just finding really expensive stuff to start with.

Looks great but is there a zipper in the critical area for urgent use?

I have a long list of material things. FX-3, Garmin VIRB 360, Stratus 2S, Summits...

And then I have a few short valuable ones, that include striving to incorporate those traits possessed by some of those around us.

Those that are always enthusiastic and outgoing - John Fleurent was mentioned but always bears mentioning.
So many that are truly giving - The John Meade's of the world.
So many really truly good people - The Crane's of Maine, the Symon's of Vermont. If you're not humbled by who you could be when you're around these people, you should spend more time with them.

The rest of you that I've not met yet, I look forward to the day I do. May it be on a backcountry strip with sunshine and smiles.

Oh George. I'm sitting here telling myself "shut up Cornell. Just walk away from that comment." But I can't......

George's list is plenty for me. I don't need no stinking FX or fancy electrons dancing in my panel. Happy I have the flow of nickels and dimes to keep my tank full of mogas, and a great family and great friends.

    Truly blessed

This is the best headlamp I have found for what I do. It has dim and bright and you can set it to wave your hand in front of it to turn it on and off. It is rechargable and the thing I like is the width of the light beam instead of being round. My Dad was just here and we were working on his engine and he wants one. Makes Christmas shopping easy for me.

Even if you have a headlamp, I just replaced my old one. Same brand, price, batteries, three times the light.
    What's a go-around?
