Cub type design CG

Working on a Cub type airplane design.

The wing airfoil is the same as PA-18.

If the fuselage angle is an unknown, what wing angle of attack should be used for measuring weight and balance?

Is that an -18 fuse with metalized wing, CC cowl and RV tail? Has it flown yet? Looks like a cool project

Modified D&E wide body fuselage, Wings are all metal one-off design with Cub airfoil. CC cowling and yes RV-7 tail pieces. Controls are all push rod except cable rudder. Handles like a dream. Got about 50 hrs on her so-far.

Nice! This kind of project is part of what makes the experimental category so fun

If it's a Cub (or Cub based) fuselage, why not level it as Piper says to?
Big thread on this recently:

This Dodge letter gives smart-level alternatives to levelling with a plumb-bob:

The fuselage has been modified quite a bit and the wings are a one-off design so wing angle of attack may not be the same when fuselage is same as piper. It's all up for checking. Not saying it's wrong but the original manufacturer passed away and some documentation of the design has not been found. Having to recheck a lot of things. So far it's mostly as expected.
