Don't make much, but I eat a lot of metal dust.
At the moment it's another Flip Lift (for working on jet skis), for a customer in Ohio.

It'll end up looking like this prior to powder coat , if I'm any good.

Like a caged and indecisive squirrel Kenny. I thought the lack of focus and preplanning was obvious.

Glenn is like the mail. He always gets through. Maine weather over the past few days has been rather erratic. Hopefully the showers will keep to a minimum.

Back on Friday we went back North to go find the abandoned steam locomotives but landed in Chamberlain Lk so we won't pissoff the park ranger like last year. Had to hike a couple hundred yards thru a bog to get on dry ground. Mud was quite a challenge in spots

John lead the way with only one face plant

Joe was heading to China when I hear " Glennie come help me " John found a driftwood plank that I slid all ng the ground to go help Joe

Boiler and steam engine that ran a cable tram a half mile long pulling logs from Eagle lake to Chamberlain lake on a small rail dolly

One of my traditions during Greenville is to swim at the base of Kineo, a shear cliff that hangs 700' over Moosehead Lake and the water is over 200' deep where we swim. Most years I can get some hardy friend to swim with me. Rene and Cody 2 years ago. Some years it's kinda warm 70? but was a little chilly this year with all the cold nights. Amy ditched me a few years ago and Capt Cub rode with me in the J4 all day and refused to put his skinny 84 year old bony ass in the historic swimming hole.

In Maine one takes a swim when one has the opportunity during the all too short season. I'm off the dock in a wetsuit only weeks after ice out to get the docks in shape for the season. November will nigh be upon us and the delights of Maine lakes in the summer will shift to other pastimes. Kineo is a magical place and Glenn has a fine tradition. The water in Moosehead is silky and soft. I hope to get in the lake this weekend. Supposed to be 81 degrees on Saturday. Water temps are slowly falling so anything past labor day is a gift. The leaves are starting to change....

For the last week or so the weather has been crap; mostly fog. Saturday there was a brief bit of sun so I went flying with my new camera.

Pete, not sure how they would stop anyone, but I believe the event was limited to a certain number on the beach per town or something. (30?) they have a waiver to sign.
    Wings4wishes.org

What worries me is there's a few trikes signed up - 150/140/pa-28/172.... hope they know what they're doing.

This does imply a limit of 30. https://wings4wishes.org/about/
There are 32 on the list and you are one of them. https://wings4wishes.org/pilot-roster/

Glenn, I just came across this thread and saw the pictures you took in Seldovia and in Alaska. It was a pleasure to have Bev and you here. I'm glad you enjoyed your trip.

Your a good friend and your welcome in my home any time. Come again and stay as long as you like.

And by the way the helmet is at least 45 years old

Stu we had the trip of a lifetime because of your friendship. Can't believe it's been 20+ years since I walked up to you at K23 and asked " whats with these big tires ". Thank you for letting Bev and I experience Alaska by letting us steal your Cub and do some exploring. We will be back for sure, Seldovia is a beautiful place and you and Betsy have a incredible view to wake up to every day. Stu, you have made friends all over the world and I'm proud to be one of them.

    Love ya buddy
