I have a Hero 4 Black. The 5 Black is better. It was a matter of time before I bought one. Lucky me, I never threw away my first generation Hero but it's a dinosaur. For a $100 discount and free Fedex both ways? I'm taking them up on the offer.

The best use of the new cam may be taking videos of my grandson. All the years my daughter was growing up I had big, clunky video cams that were a pain in the butt to carry and use. We didn't have editing. I rarely used them and I'm sorry I didn't. I can't get those moments back. These days? These cams are tiny, the editing software is excellent, and I don't get tired of filming that boy. To each their own.
