Ok Folks! A number of you have been asking about registration. I would expect this to begin in a couple weeks. We are still hammering out the details. The dates are as above, Friday - Wednesday.

Folks, a couple questions have come up:

    1. Can we just drop by and hang out for the day? OF COURSE!

    2. Can we just drop by, hang out for the day, and purchase a couple meals? OF COURSE (if you know you are going to do this, it helps us have enough food (and saves you money) to pre-register.

    3. Do I have to fly a Super Cub? NO! Only caveat is nose draggers park on the ramp.

Hey folks! Let's not wait until the last minute to register! In fact, I have to order the shirts right after this weekend so if you are wanting to be guaranteed a shirt....

    Thanks!

Steve, we do have a microwave although it did not get put away properly one year so I will need to check it's status it should be fine. I believe there is also one in the kitchen in the conference room behind the showers if ours is not operational.

Hey folks! Registrations are still rolling in!

If you have not been to New Holstein before, be sure to read the FAQ's on the registration link!

If you can register in advance it really, really, really helps! (and saves you money).

OK PEOPLE! It is time to get to registering!

The 2017 New Holstein Fly In is just a FEW DAYS AWAY! We are very much looking forward to seeing you there. I want to cover a few items and introduce you to some friendly faces you will get to know during the week. THERE ARE SOME IMPORTANT LINKS AT THE BOTTOM so please read!

DON'T FORGET - LEFT TRAFFIC FOR RUNWAY 22 DURING THE EVENT!

IF YOU ARE THINKING OF BRINGING A CAMPER AND ARE NOT ONE OF THESE PEOPLE YOU NEED TO GET IT TOUCH WITH ME: (Osmanski, Duncan, Mason, Sitzman/Furlong, Reynolds, Nordsving) There are NO hookups and limited space for anything large.

    1. Upon your arrival, pick a spot between the flags. Your plane and your tent need to be inside the four corners of the spot. There is presently only one reserved spot and it is right next to the pavilion. Should you have a special need of some sort (difficulty walking, etc) please reply to this email and let me know.

    2. One of the first people you are likely to see when you arrive is Cafi19 (aka Laura). When she is not feeding Flossie, or blue jays that don't want to fly, she will most likely be coming to your plane to greet you, get you "checked in" and give you your meal tickets, bus tickets, t-shirts, etc. If you don't see her right away, don't panic, she will find you

    3. Dana Osmanski once again lost the annual Johnson / Osmanski arm wrestling face off and as a consequence she will once again (with her full time assistant Paul (aka "The Guy with the Waco")) be running the SuperCub.Org Super Swag Sale Table. There will be lots of Super Cool Super Cub Stuff this year so be sure to look her up!

    4. Randy Corfman (aka "the shooter", aka Randy Bob) has once again taken on the HUGE task of organizing and running the STOL Exhibition and Flour Drop. He also organizes the Young Eagles flights in conjunction with New Holstein Airport Day on Sunday. Randy will be doing a "Basic Med update" and answering questions Tuesday right after breakfast (subject to change) as well. PLEASE Use the links below to register for the Young Eagles, Flour Drop, and STOL Events! The STOL and Flour Drop Events are "Just for Fun" and for the benefit of the spectators who think any take off and landing is amazing! Please consider taking part in these events!

    5. Jeff Russell and Steve Lewis are your 2017 Fly Out Captains and have done all the work getting three great fly outs set up. Use the link below to let us know that you want to go!

    6. You will meet a LOT of locals who volunteer to pitch in and help every year! Please let them know how much you appreciate them!

IMPORTANT LINKS TO ADVANCE SIGN UP SHEETS

STOL Demo Sign Up click here

Flour Drop Sign Up click here

Young Eagles Pilot Sign Up click here

Fly Out Sign Up click here

BE SURE TO READ THE FAQ! click here

Thanks everybody, see you in a few days! Feel free to reply to this email if you have questions.

The Aussies had a good couple of hours at NH today and have the T shirts and cosies (stubby holders - https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/de.../stubby_holder ) to prove it, caught the tail end of the short field comps and the flour bomb. All after surviving the drive on the "wrong" side of the road from Chicago. Great fun! Have arrived in Osh and sampled the "delights" of Kelly's bar - looking fwd to the short fields in the evening and the preso on Tue!

Terrific time, for the ump-tenth time in a row! Thanks to SJ and Laura, to Paul and Dana, for all you did to make this family reunion happen. It was so great to see some folks who haven't been to NH for awhile, and to see new faces. Really, it is so refreshing to see this many people come together and enjoy friendships and conversations around the pavilion, around the campfire.

We made it back to KC in record time for a Super Cub thanks to a nice push. I'm sitting here overwhelmed thinking back about so much help from so many folks to make this thing happen yet again.

And a great evening around the campfire at NH. Lots of renewed friendships and great stories.

Lots of fun at NH,,,, been way too long since I have been there,,, and as some probably will say,,, "ain't been long enough"...
Suspect Tim is giving Bill a few pointers on shorter landing, hence his smile. (we know he always will hold a little back to give him the edge)

Thank you for letting us see these and enjoy an event we don't get to participate in.
I don't know where you've been me lad, but I see you won first Prize!

Does anyone know how many trips Eaton had to make around Lake Michigan and Lake Superior before he found New Holstein?
