    Brazos River Rat Gathering

Just back from a great weekend gathering of Brazos River Rats. We all met up on a gravel bar we call the Hi/Low. Two M6 Maules, 3 Super Cubs, a Super Cruiser, a Carbon Cub, a Pacer and a Bird Dog. Several folks brought their kids and they swam in the river, shot BB guns, poked sticks in the fire and made smores. No cell phones or tablets were played with. Went bar hoping and introduced some folks to our little play ground. Was a great time and can't wait to do it again.

    Our camping spot and runway.

Nice sunrise over my Cub this morning.

Had a visit from an R44 shooting pigs.

Flew out to a nearby ranch strip for burgers.

Our runway is being sealed. I couldn't even break out the spare airplane for a fast pass.

I had to go back to our camping spot and retrieve a few things that wouldn't fit yesterday so took Paco and Dozer. Took Paco about 30 seconds to find the pancake that got dropped in the sand.

Come to Graham RPH and I will give you a guided tour. Took off and landed on 15-16 different gravel bars the other night in 55 minutes.
