That is what I'd expect but is not the case on my engine.
I wonder if there is a something at fault with the oil cooler itself.
Will place a call to TCM tomorrow and see if that have heard of this before.
The oil cooler is cooling the oil, hmm.....
sounds to me like it's doing its job.
I'd cover more of the cooler & see what that does to the temp.
What power settings are you running?
Maybe you need to pump it up a little,
or lean it out more?
Try it again running 24 squared leaned to 30-50 ROP (for me that pretty much hottest exhaust 1360-1390 depending on altitude) and see. Remember, you gotta make heat to have heat...
