Seaplane lifting rings

Jim

I got mine mine many years ago from Atlee Dodge in Anchorage. They fabricated them there, I believe.

Or, make your own. That girl going to skis?

Air Repair the L19 and Stearman guys in Mississippi probably have them for the L19. Should be the same.

Any one know where to get lifting rings for a C170?

wouldn't think you would need to worry about PMA on this... is the spreader bar and chain fall you are lifting with a PMA'd thing?

mike, I wasn't considering PMAd or not, only addressing the original question. I don't know what Cessna used, it may have been a standard hardware part. If it was obviously a non aircraft part on a certified airplane and some hard nosed FAA type was looking at the airplane for some reason noticed it, he just may want to look a little deeper. :bad-words:
