Summer 2016 in the books

Just a quick post to say hello and that I'm still here and life goes on. Will add some more pictures in time, but #1 son is getting married on Saturday so just thought I'd check in.

Here's a picture of me on the step, landing on a lake about 25 miles West of our Temagami camp... to pick up the youngest daughter and my canoe. I had just shuttled out her boyfriend on the previous flight. 34 C and 44 C with the humidex. Climb rate wasn't pretty leaving, but I got her over the trees at the end of the lake.

Here's a few more from the "kids" day on a back lake. Both brought back their limits, equalling about 25 lbs of bass. Feed the 6 of us in camp, plus enough to take home to her boy friends father for a few meals. I originally put them on the lake to fish for Lake Trout, but they couldn't be bothered to try and get their hooks below 60 feet.

What a beautiful day, Wayne! That rebel sure looks like fun on the water. Can!t wait to get started on my floats! CW

Took my two Great nieces up for their very first airplane ride. The 5 year old could have stayed up all day, the 8 year old not so much!

The other pictures are Leah and mines last outing to Barter Lake, to jig for Lake Trout in 108 FOW. Amazing that through thick and thin here we are 37 years after meeting and 34 years of marriage later and we're still out having fun and adventures together.
