I've been reading the senate sub-committee hearings on H.R. 1846.(dated 8/6/98) Has anyone know about the guys involved with some of those testimonies? Sure would like to hear how their outcome was. Do you think the FAA is different now?

huh [h=1]H.R.1846 - Lower East Side Tenement National Historic Site Amendments Act[/h]Did you mean [h=1]H.R.1848 - Small Airplane Revitalization Act of 2013[/h]

To clarify, it was the US sub-committee on aviation meeting held on August 6,1998. It was labeled H.R. 1846: FAA'S Emergency Revocation of FAA Licenses . John Duncan was chairman. John Yodice represented the GA side. Oberstar was on the panel. Various bureaucrats. They were considering legislation, H.R. 1846, which would change the procedures for handling of emergency revocations. Very interesting meeting on the abuse of power the faa has.
