Zorbaz Anyone???

Looking like a nice weekend for ski-plane flying. A few of us are planning on dropping into Zorbaz with a 12, 7ac, 170 all on skis and checking to see if there is any Chili left over and or T-Shirt sales, Saturday around noon. Thats tomorrow noon March 2nd. Conditions for the weekend are attractive, unlike most of the winter, which is rapidly disappearing.

Thats the Zorbaz near Park Rapids, MN which location can be found on Randy's (Wind On his Nose) prior post's.

Hope you and Mike have a great time. Wish I were in MN to join in the festivities but am still over here in MD. Do a fly-over my place and see if it still there. Strips a little lnger now so you should be ok.

The NW MN chapter of supercub.org met briefly at Zorbaz,

and we had a good visit. Solved many of societies problems and the gang provided ample culinary fodder for my "How (Not) to Become an Old, Bold Pilot: Medical Considerations" for Monday's ND Aviation Symposium presentation. Hint: Do not order a full order of Zorbaz nachos...guarantee to triple your serum cholesterol levels

For those who are in the region, Robb Swanson has prepared an easy access to the restaurant. While they are out of chili, the food is great and when you get a few supercub.org people together you can't beat the company!

I thought Zorbaz is why they invented Lipitor. Just talked with Rod; we are planing breakfast at Bemidji tomorrow with a 0830 departure from here.

Still working on pics but had 50 airplanes show up at Twin Pine on Mille Lacs. A number bailed and went to Brained cafe as it was a zoo at Garrison. The Fairchild of course decided to not start again after it got there...soooo...jumper cables to the rescue...I foresee a 180 in Ben's future...

Good food, good company and a good day of flying. Nachos were over the top and I am kicking myself for not getting a photo for you Eric.

Keith, wished you could have made it. I did fly over your place 3-4 weeks ago. You need to think about a new tv antenna tower.

Wished we could have made Garrison, sounds like a great turnout. Next time.......Rod

LMAO, Yes Rod....that happened this summed in that big wind storm over the 4th of July. Waiting for someone to help me get it out of the trees! Had quite a mess from that wind, lots of trees down.

Glad to hear you guys had a great time. I am hoping to be back the first week of April.
Post some pics....its the only way I get my airplane fix during the winter months.
