AK DOT Airport page

There used to be a site where one could pull up info on runways in AK. There were photos, sometimes up to 4 of even the most remote strips. Yukon Charley, Serpentine Hot Springs, etc... I cannot find the link. I hope the state didn't shut that page down for liability reasons. Where do I look?

Thanks SB. They changed the whole website since I looked last. Now you gotta root around in the photo archives to pull up the places I am actually interested in. Why do they need to f--k up a good thing. I suppose those will be gone at some point. Chicken and Boundary strips don't even come up on the main page. I guess a Navajo or Caravan every 3 hours is the requirment to make the main page.

Outdated snapshots may be good for daydreaming but not much else. Weathercams in real time are way better tools.

This is a good place to ask where, but to ask why here won't get you very far. Contact the folks at the Anchorage Statewide office and ask them. In fact, send an email. You will get answered...
