I got somewhat concerned during a preflight (sat for three weeks) when the RH sight tube was clearly full of yellow fuel. It smelled like 100LL . Turns out that my 4 month old red ball in the sight tube is now pink. All is well after an hour of flying. (Univair ball)
Have you ever used mogas? My balls turned pink after using mogas.... Go ahead George...

To be remembered, and considered worthy of comment...
I hate when fuel gets discolored. Had some fuel turn dark from the inside of the fuel hose once... kinda scary being 200 miles from anywhere and have suspicious fuel...

Unless I'm mistaken when the fuel turns yellow its because alcohol has been added to it. Bill
No mogas for last 25 years or so. Blue from 100LL and red from ball equals yellow.
