If anyone is planning on a visit to New Zealand later this year, you may want to consider dropping by the "Black Sands" Fly in at Raglan (NZRA) held over the weekend of 10th - 11th November (Spring in NZ). The fly in gets its name from the black Iron sand beaches nearby, and includes a Beach landing fly-away workshop on Saturday. There will be lots of "Cub - type" aircraft there and lots of fluent aeroplane (airplane?) spoken. This is always a fun event, and we'd love to welcome overseas visitors into our patch!
