About time!!!!!!!!
You will love it.
Good to hear from you the other day.
I will trade u my 29 11x10's for those
Lance
and those are going on the 210 right?
Those who pound their guns into plows, will plow for those who do not.
About time Randy no more little tire syndrome. Have fun with them.

Lou,
I had 31's on it for a short time and it was like flying an overgrown cub. Awesome! The 31's were to replace the worn out ones on the cub, so I couldnt keep them.
The 29X10's are fine for floatation but they do not soak up any rough stuff. I knew all of this before hand because I talked to bill duncan at length about it. I have to taxi on pavement to get to my hangar and the bushwheels will obviously have a short life, so I compromised. The 29X10's are nice for hard surface landings which it does quite a bit of but I wish I had the regular bushwheels when I go off airport. They were a lot friendlier to the airframe.
Dont get me wrong I like the 29x10's but if it wasnt for landing/taxing on hard surfaces so much I without a doubt would have bushwheels. May go back anyway, have not decided.
Lance
Ps- the cruise speed was about the same between the two, maybe even a tad faster on the 31's
Ah, a great day indeed for Randy. I couldn't resist putting this one together after I had my 35's and BBW installed a couple months ago...
Henny, Is that the Cal Center leading edge cuff on the wing or something else? You don't hear much talk about that mod any more. During the 80s, when I spent a lot of time in Alaska, that mod was all the rage. Everyone had to have it.

Hey, DW, I am just trying to figure out how to lift my sorry butt up to get this little dawg up into the cockpit
...but I'll figure it out
Randy
And so it begins, the paperwork signed off, the air pressure lowered to 8 psi. The Bushwheel grin was evident before first flight and I understand was even wider after a few landings on Forest Lake's grass. I'm sure Randy will post his first impressions. The ol cub sure looks STRONG!

Darrel, did you have to give RC a boost up? I don't see a step stool....
Randy, no more BW envy.....yay!!

He will be easier to get along with from now on, the whining was getting rather disconcerting. My major regret is not getting a video of his first time stepping up on the tire, then one foot on the Atlee Dodge step, scratching his head and eventually wriggling into the front seat -- a missed opportunity for sure.
