    Lycoming Operations Instructions, for review

I enjoy reading factory publications and seeing how the instructions differ from what I do or what I thought was correct. For your consideration....
Hey, skip one of your reality shows and focus on aviation for a few minutes.

I have that downloaded on my computer also -- good stuff.
When a prang seems inevitable, endeavor to strike the softest, cheapest object in the vicinity, as slowly and gently as possible.— advice given to RAF pilots during W.W.II.

The following two quotes are from the above linked "Lycoming Flyer" document.............

"...For most Lycoming models, preheatshould be applied anytime temperatures are at 10˚ F or lower..."

"...If the aircraft has a winterization kit, it should be installed when operating in outside air
temperatures (OAT) that are below the 40˚ to 45˚ F range..."

    HUH?........
