Thread: Can we get some cool supercub.org that I'd wear?

Can we get some cool supercub.org that I'd wear?

No shots at SJ, anyone here, or a flying organizer. I'd just like to be able to have a supercub shirt, jacket, hat that I'd actually wear. No cows, clown planes, cartoons whatever. I'd like the rugged out back, back country, adventure type flavor of what these planes do.

I like the shortfield.com and backcountrypilot.org shirts and lots of outdoor companies backcountry.com, REI etc., but I'm just not personally invested in their websites like this one.

Not throwing bombs here, just respectfully asking.... Anyone else have any interest?

There used to be a grey t-shirt with a black-shadow Supercub on it. Not sure if that's around any more, but I think you'd like that one.

I'm with Iflylower. Great idea. Do we have anyone in this organization who has an interest/expertise in handling this? SJ and LJ have enough on their plates.

heres a little hole in the wall in my home town. Price and stuff would have to check out. www.idesignrugby.com Just thinking the cost per unit sold would be a bummer. Go to logo creation on there website, the 2 gals there are pretty good at it. If i had a supercuborg logo beneath a picture i could sure check with them if oked by the boss.

http://akbushwheel.com/index.php?pag...art&Itemid=116 something like this you guys are thinking? Someone come up with the picture and SJs people could probably say this is what it would cost. Cal lets see a picture. We still have to keep it with the cause.

You can call FINISHING TOUCHES JACKET JUNCTION in Anchorage, AK. Talk to Linda. If you send her a pic of your plane she will put it on a Jacket style of your choice. It comes out first class and professional looking. I have worn out two of my jackets over the years and need to order a new one. If I had my jacket with me I would post a pic of her work. I have posted it in the past but can't remember where I had the picture stashed.

How about a design contest, like Dave's caption contest?

I have zero artistic ability, but I sure enjoyed checking the thread every day during the caption contest!

Seriously, though, I'm sure there are some really talented folks out there in this department. Maybe we can collectively create some cool new gear we all want to buy and wear to show our SC.org colors.

Once we get some winning designs we could do a preorder to see how much a batch would cost. I'm good for a hat, a few shirts, etc., etc.

Anyone can go to a Tshirt shop with your idea and pay them to have the artist make up what you want then you can buy your own shirt and possibly sell them yourself. It only takes money and you can get exactly what you envision.

I am a +1 for a nice T-shirt. I would like a small logo on front and main artwork on back.

Long sleeved shirt with big pockets (my man-purse ), or pocket tee-shirt with long tails. Preferably in Aeroshell Gray. My 2 cents.

    Thanks. cubscout

Yup!! I can't count the times, I have been proudly wearing my Scub.Org hat, and someone of seemingly normal intelligence, has asked WHAT'S THAT?? I got so tired of it, that I went and bought some PIPER CUB hats. Everybody seems to know what that is. SCub.org. seems to be an inside joke, nobody around here gets.

  35. #35
Supercool logo gear. hmm. I think y'all need logo belt holsters for your survival tampons. That ought to make a statement to the world.

  36. #36
    Oh yeah??
Well effum if they can't take a joke.
We are and will be SC.Org.
I really worry about my classic NH Ts fading and getting
holes in the wrong places. How can I replace the Cow
flying the S Cub, or Anne's "Shadow Cub" recall. the
Cow with the yelow Crocks (Sorry Steve.. but I really couldn't
make that one -- Mike can tell you about knees. I do
still have and wear six of the shirts).
Now the point abour the expandable hats is right on for
us big head guys. But most of the "expandable" caps
are those with expandable hatbands and the crown stays
the same size. Just make a box of size 8 and let those of
us morphed to the next level wear them proudly.
Roll 'em SJ. We'll just have to bring along the ToothCarpenter
    guys a bit more slowly.

can't post photos from an iPad ... Can you?
