Well I had been thinking of heading north again this Sept ,and this morning, just as the alarm was going off, I hear this far off moose grunt, sounded like he had about a 60" rack!!
We don't get alot off moose in my part of Kansas so I jumped out of bed as fast as I could, but by the time I got my wits about me he was no where to be found.
That was the last straw , I'll start getting 54WD ready and the broadheads sharp, I'm going!!

I don't use a bow, but I'm planning a grocery shopping trip too. Moose is on my grocery list.

Doug, it will be good to see you again. Best time to grunt for moose is the last 10 days of the season where you hunt. Those 60 inch bulls are tough to find now where we hunt.
