Me and The Donald will be shipping some camping gear to New Holstein. What is the correct address to ship to? Airport address?
Charles Aaron
Hopefully you're shipping a margarita machine, Charlie.

No margarita machine, but I can bring a big bottle of Tequila.Becky is flying up with the Alabama Flash on Thursday.
Charles Aaron
Thanks SJ. You want me to bring the Tequila?
Charles Aaron
Wait a minute!!! True North and The Donald together in the same location? Will NH be safe?![]()
Not to change the subject away from Becky, margarita machines, and tequila......
I've been sitting in my office for a good part of the afternoon planning my route to NH from Central NC in my J-3 (only 12 gallon nose tank!) and am considering the Chicago VFR corridor. Right now I plan on stopping at Gary Regional (KGYY) or Merriville-Griffith (05C) for gas, then flying up the coast until just south of the Waukegan class D, and then heading west towards Grand Geneva (C02). I'll stop there and then head to Hartford and then to NH- which will keep me form interfering with Milwaukee Class C and the Kenosha\Waukesha\Timmerman Class D airspace as advised in the Airventure notam.
Anyone with previous experience doing this in a slow, non-electrical system A/C have any advice? Or am I just better off taking the south and west route around the class B this time of year?
I'll be leaving on Sat, July 21st and hope to make it to NH by Sunday evening.

C65 is a good spot to overnight if you can make it there. Hotel, Courtesy car, and nearby food. Grass you can land on.
Hobart is another option for fuel, CALL first though. Its pretty interesting.....
Go for the VFR corridor and stay low. Take something that floats with you.
C56 is another good stop just south of Chicago.

BOTTLE ROCKETS.?
We get Bottle Rockets this year???
I think those are the little flags that mark off the parking spaces.
Charles Aaron
So do we park between them, with a flag under each wing? I want Tom to think I know what I'm doing
And you throw the little spike on the measuring tape but try not to throw it through the side of your airplane.
Got a new hopefully weatherproof family tent today. Should be their on Monday.
