    need pictures of engine baffles

Anyone have any pictures of a 150 hp super cub with baffles installed. I am getting to that point of installing the baffles and since I was not the one who took the old ones off I have no idea how the new ones go back on!!!! I have been looking through the forums but couldn't find any pictures.

    O-320 Baffle Pictures? Rear Baffles?

Found some Great Detailed shots of Baffle seals and Side Baffles but not much luck on rear wall details and underside shots!
We are repairing our originals and have a pretty well fortified shop but our originals are missing some pieces making it hard to know what they looked like! Definitely enough good pieces to make them like new again but even looking around in the field Almost every plane I look at varies!
Anyone know a good place to see pictures of a full set of baffles as they should be?
    Thanks for any help!

Pictures would be great and much appreciated! Very interested how original rear walls were constructed as well as fit around bottom of cylinders. I would like to repair mine right back to original. The more pictures the better of any and all the baffles. I can't believe how many different ones I have seen. Every cub and old piper I looked at was different.
Cant wait to see how they where before losing bits and patched up repairs! Very big thank you for the help

aerialimage, I merged your thread with another on baffles. Scroll up and you will see some pictures of the sides on some stock baffles. Will post some more when I get to the hanger.

Thank you for the great pictures, two mystery's remain, the left rear wall inner panel and how the front and rear baffles are joined underneath the cylinders, I see many are pulled together with safety wire and a rare few have tie rods running front to rear and meeting either bent up weak looking flanges or riveted on steel plates. the safety wire seems to pull through the baffles with time and I am guessing the tie rod was original?
I had found those air forms pictures with a google search and they seem to have pretty fair prices too but it added to my confusion as those pictures don't look like the rear wall has the radius around the head at the bottom but rather end flat along with the smaller panel that turns under next to exhaust flange. Your Pictures are by far the best and most helpful so far! If you can even get a camera to capture the bottoms and inside rear wall it would be great but either way A very big thank you for taking the time to help out already! Oh maybe some front ramp pictures too if possible, Mine was in good shape and I think was original because fit was made with hollow steel rivets like piper used to do but the right side seemed to miss the head some by the intake flange. Now is the time to make them right. Of coarse Beers are owed if you ever get up this way!
    Thanks again for the help!

There are two tie rods originally that holt the front baffle to the rear baffle round the bottom of the cylinders. Univair sells these. I will get pictures and part numbers when I get some time.

Think I have found the tie rods at Univair:
    inner cylinder tie rod 71451-003
    front baffle tie rod 71451-008
No pictures or other description but I am guessing those are it. and two of each needed.

The part you want is 14513, the part number you listed is for the early style inner cylinder baffles.

In my early parts manual it is on Figure 34 item no. 20. part number 14513-00 or Univair U14513-000 is for the O-320.

I'm ready to install a new set of baffles from Airforms (finally!). Question regarding the hex-head bolts used to install them to the engine: What can I use? The airplane is Experimental, so I know you're going to say I can use "anything," but the engine is certified, and I like to use the safest thing. Are they safety-wired? Lock nuts?

Also, I see in the above pictures a plastic guard for the spark plug wires. Where can I get those?

    Thanks!

    Anne.
