Smart phone/Supercub.Org question

I've always preferred browsing the "full site" from my iPhone. I don't care for tap-a-talk or the site's mobile version. Recently my phone stopped seeing the full site. If I select the full site I'm returned to the familiar home page but no matter what I do the view switches to mobile when I go to discussions. I can't see any settings on my phone that prevents the full site view so I wonder if it's a site thing? Any advice from tech guys out there?

I prefer the full site also with my iPhone, I'm not having the issues as you describe. Sorry don't have an answer for you just letting you know it still works here.

I use Safari and Tapatalk on the iPhone. I prefer Safari for viewing and Tapatalk for responding. I've noticed no changes with Safari recently. Could be a setting on the iPhone?

My iPhone 4S did an update on the OS this week. Maybe something to do with your problem?

I thought about that, too, so I did a total restore on the phone. No joy. When I go to the forums page and select "full site" I get a "redirecting" note and it returns me to the home page, which appears normally. Only the forums are in the mobile view. Still stumped.

I have a 4 iPhone and recently updated to 5.1.1. That did not screw up using the full SC version, thank goodness. I too don't care for the app version or tapatalk.

In the lower left hand corner of the forums there is a dropdown that says "supercub.org" You can select the mobile or non-mobile view. I believe you can set this preference in your profile permanently also.

Once you have changed to the mobile site where does that drop down menu go? I switched to the mobile
site and then tried to go back but like SB couldn't find the drop down option again. I had to arrow back many pages to
get back to the full site before I made the change and from there toggled the setting back to the full site.

I will check and see why the full site link is not working and get it corrected.

Ok, here is the update. There is a bug with the "full site" and I am a gonna fix it, probably tomorrow.
