NW aviation conference and trade show BBQ Sat. 25th 2012

We are looking forward to a great turnout for the annual BBQ at Thun field Sat. Feb 25th. Spencer Aircraft has new owners and will be providing the shuttle service to and from the fair grounds. In addition to our lunch BBQ, Spencer's is having a dinner BBQ as well. Everything is free of charge. Easy to find, just look for the fat tires and BBQ grill to your left (facing runway south end of the field) when you land in the first section of grass on runway 34.

If I had to pick one plane, it would be the Super Cub. Im going to build one and try to find a 180 to put in it. I will need your help. Thanks

Not a problem. My hangar is heated and Carey's hangar has room also. Not to mention the house. Gunny, don't worry about bringing anything except what you plan to sip on.
    Are you flying down Bill?

I think the shuttles are going to run constantly. Probably a few guys driving from Thun Fld as well.
Dave has done well with the weather the last few years, we'll see how he does this year.
I'm part Indian, I'll do a little sun dance first thing Saturday morning.

Carey can dance all he wants, but it is going to rain. I am bringing a canopyfor over the BBQ so Dave's burgers don't get wet. And while at Thun don't forget to go see the "Spencer Girls"

Carey, Don't forget the sun tan lotion ! I have seen Carey do a few of these dances around the bon fire at night, I'm sure he doesn't remember any of them. We had a heck of a time keeping the bon fire going after that. See you there guys.

Hey Dave - Many thanks to you for the great time. Always good to get together with Cub folk this dreary time of year. BTW what the hell was it that we joined while we were eating dinner anyway???? Anyway - great time was had by all. What a hoot that Leatherneck met Steve and they were in the same outfit in Nam back in 68 - too cool. Thanks again.

Hard to know for sure. They didn't seem very impressed when I introduced them to a couple of fine Marines like yourselves. Thanks for the excellent gift. We almost polished it off. Steve made it out this morning but had to go south through the gorge.

Spencer aircraft at Thun field put on a great party! Cheapest fuel around now. We used to be one of the highest around.
