Those who pound their guns into plows, will plow for those who do not.
Great job John, free hotdogs and hamburgers at my hanger this weekend.

Dana and I had a great time at Sentimental Journey! Managed to borrow a Super Cruiser for one of the fly outs and checked out the local hills by motorcycle. I did the best I could from the back of Joe's Super Cub with our one borrowed flour bomb. Hope to bring our 95hp Cub out for the pilgrimage next year! Dana was happy to see all who stopped by the Cub Club booth! Hope to see familar faces at Hartford for Cubs 2 OSH and at New Holstein!
Met Slackass,
Nice Toy Hauler and bikes. Guard dogs wouldn't let me near them.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention to arrive safely in a well preserved body but rather to slide in sideways, well used up proclaiming "WOW What a Ride"
Even though I missed SJ this year, I'd like to thank Glenn, Snert, 2+2 Tim, Craig, Amy and Speedy for all of the late night harassing phone calls from the pavillion that contained the appropriate expletives....and slurred speech
Payback coming to a New Holstein fly-in near you!

Tim,
Was it true you were unable to come cause you were in Bangor(Bangah) and in Maine too!

Yep! We were in and around Bah-ha-bah (bar harbor) and Acadia. Luckily it was pre-tourist season so the town was quiet- we stubled across Northeast Harbor and have put that on the list for the place to stay next time- along with taking the Cub. It was gorgeous, and best of all, the weather was not hot!

Hi Luds02m,
Go to the Web site to see the award winners at Sentimental Journey, the latest newsletter, and the info on ordering T-shirts & hats. If you all don't have a T-shirt or hat, you need to get some. They are the nicest we've ever had, and are selling like hotcakes. www.sentimentaljourneyfly-in.com. This year, a female won the bomb drop...AGAIN! Go girls! Actually, it was the second bullseye we've had. Years ago, a couple of CAMP FUBAR guys put it in a 5 gallon bucket. Try to beat that. It was a guy who won the spot landing this year, we women need to practice for next year.
Just to let everyone know, especially you PA-18 lovers out there...the featured plane for 2013 Sentimental Journey to Cub Haven will be the PA-18 Supercub. The dates are June 19 through June 22, 2013. Plan your vacations now, you won't regret spending it in Lock Haven, The City of Friendly People. The "All You Can Eat " pancake breakfast will be Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012. Menu: Pancakes, biscuits, sausage gravy, sausage, eggs, hash brown patties, oj, coffee & tea. Fly in or drive in...rain or shine. William T. Piper Memorial Airport, Hanger 1, Lock Haven, PA. See you there!
OK SJ,
I have been after you to come to one of these. Looks like this should be the one!!
