Thread: Website Slow?

    Website Slow?

Is the website slow for anyone else. It takes a long time for anything other than the homepage to load. All other sites seem fine. Firefox Mac

    I can't load pictures

Yes I have noticed a lag that didn't exist a few days ago. Other forums that use same software seem to have same problem.

Yes, and my latest update of Firefox (iMac) crashes all the time! This is hell!

Running full speed here in KC, could be the route between where you are and here...

Working good here---Linux/Firefox. Just did another free update a couple of days ago.

Last time we had a problem, there was a big DOS attack that shut down much of Kansas City. In January, we will be moving to a new carrier hotel that is away from the big servers that are the focus of some of these attacks (largely political websites, etc).

I am going to check and see if something similar happened last night.

I have been having a lot of trouble as well. Mac /Safari. All other websites seem fine. It seems like it hangs up on the last item. ie loading 12 of 13 and there it hangs. Or it will get to 53 of 54 and then stalls. If you reclick it sometimes goes right through. Again, all other websites and everything else works fine. Been happening several days.

Steve, It seems much better this morning. I was having the problems on all my computers and tried safari last night with same results. This morning it seems back to normal.

Chrome was doing the same... but on more than just this site...

Thought it was the invasion of armadillos here, so was just suffering through...

Actually, ShortWingPipers.Org is on the same server, so if you check it and it is slow too, it is likely a Kansas City thang.

need we remind Mr. SJ that advertising should be in the classifieds section...

Even Sneaky plugs, like talking about shortwingpipers.org and such is not allowed on forums...

So if you want to advertise shortwingpipers.org you should do it properly, and follow the rules so as not to have folks possibly resist checking out shortwingpipers.org, and maybe even start posting on shortwingpipers.org.

Even if shortwingpipers.org is a sister sight with lots of good info, we might want to be careful of advertising shortwingpipers.org on a forum.

(note: I am not a member nor stake holder in shortwingpipers.org)

We fruit operators are not used to any problems.
I have had the same problems, a little fast now but not like a week ago...
