    Piper pa-11 restoration

    Dears,

    My name is Roberto and I'm writing from Brazil. I'm new in the SuperCub builders group. At this moment I'm restoring a Piper PA-11 Experimental aircraft at my hangar. I have some doubts as described below:

    1. Where is the static port for the instruments? I will start covering the fuselagem in few days and I need to guide the tube, if it was the case.
    2. Where can I find the Ilustrated Parts Catalog and Service Manual for that aircraft?
    3. The aircraft is equipped with a Lycoming O-320-A2B (150 Hp). My engine mount is made by stainless steel and some tubes in front of the aircraft are aslo made with the same material to reinforce the structure at that place. Do you have something against this process?

    Those are my doubts for while.

    The static in the PA11 was under the panel if I am not mistaken. Univair has the parts manual available. http://univairparts.com/shopping/product_info.php?products_id=7110

    hat typeof stainless tubing is it? Is it as strong as 4130 Chrome Moly tubing?

    PA-11 Restoration

    Dear Steve,

    Thanks a lot for your reply! The stainless steell is strong then 4130 tube. My maintenance shop is retoring it for a customer and It seems that this aircraft already came from US assembled with this material. Is very strong material.

    I have another doubt: do you have pics showing the elevator cable circuit at the rear fuselage? When I received the aircraft everthing came in box for me. I am in contact with Univair at this moment to acquire the IPC manual and Service Manual for this aircraft.
