I used to carry a whole 4" Keene dredge in the C180 - this is a simplified setup that would fit easy in a SC for working the gravel bars, etc.

Very nice. I have done a lot of fly in prospecting, and claim staking. The Cub has been an excellent support plane for early stage exploration. The 206 works great later on...hard to beat the big doors and high payload there.

Thanks, only thing I forgot to show was to put the screen off the end of that first sluice (don't want any rocks in a fine gold sluice interrupting slick plate flow).

I would have liked to have had a 206 back in the day, I had a bunch of dredges and a 206 would have hauled the 5" (Keene) and all the support equipment just fine. My 5" dredge was just like the one the young man is using in the film below:
