    A day cutting wood

Getting my 10 chords of wood so I can go flying. Spring breakup just around the corner. Getting Tamarack and Birch tops from large clearcuts way out in the swamp. Sadly, most of this wood will rot away. Found a deer stand 50 feet up in a White Pine. No thanks, don't need venision that bad. Nice to get out and feel the sun. Made pallet cribs for easier movement of wood. You know you have a good woman when she rides 3 miles sitting on the wood trailer.

How's that Terex skid steer loader working out for ya? As a Terex dealer, I'm about to import the first units to Chile.

    Alex,
It's a great unit as long as you don't treat it like a wide pad crawler. In snow it's unstoppable. Probably the most versatile machine one could own. Good luck with the venture. They are made here in my home town. eric

    Wish it were me...

I am waiting on parts for my Cat MTL tracked skid steer, pulled over 6 gallons of dirt out of the floor and compartment under the floor while trying to fix the throttle that was supposed to be fixed by my friend that used it all winter...

Think it is time to go to the cabin

We've been happily selling Terex backhoes for a couple of years and last October one of our engineers visited the plant were they manufacture the SSL's. We test drove them in Memphis, but will get wheeled ones. Little use for tracked SSL's in our place. If biz brings me to MN, I'll knock on your door!

Cat makes them in Yellow and black... same paint can for plane and machine...

Bobcat tracks are narrow, and sink like an overloaded Husky on 600x6's in the mud.

But what ever tickles your fancy.

Looks like fun Eric. Best thing is the mosquitoes aren't quite so bad this time of year.........Rod

P.S. Mike was wondering if you heard any sirens overhead last weekend.

    Awesome photos as usual Eric!
As for the ASV/Terex tracked loader and the Bobcat...I own both (actually just sold the Bobcat) both good machines but I agree with Eric. The ASV/Terex went places I wouldn't go with the Bobcat. They both have their good and bad points.

85Mike, That looks like one of Paul Bunyan's toothpicks....must have dropped it.
