The inversion layer made for some pleasnant sight seeing today with my 80 year old uncle from Wisconsin. Over the top of the Knik and into Prince Willaim Sound. Next week Rainy Pass weather permitting, too much going on this week to play hookey , have to wait for the weekend

Looks like a good eater. Weather forecast for this next week looks good. Too bad I can't get out and enjoy it. About all I got done this weekend was cut some firewood. Maybe I'll get up enough nerve to trust my old 1990 snogo to get out and hunt some ptarmigan later this winter. We need some more snow out here though. Pretty rough conditions. This being without a plane is not fun.
