Does anyone know of a good cub IA to do a pre-buy of a PA-14 in Big Bear, CA?
I remember seeing a PA-14 that was from Big Bear, CA. The owner owns a flight school down there. He absolutely loved that plane which surprises me that it is/was for sale. The only person I know of in that part might be Mark Lightsey. He is in Flabob. He is a restorer and specializes in antiques and building reproductions from scratch. He is a true craftsman. I just had a pre-buy and annual done on a PA-18 at KSZP Santa Paula. Might be a little out of the way but found an exceptional mechanic named Dan Torrey. He's a tube and fabric guy who works on cubs. He was highly recommended and I was nothing but impressed. He's busy but worth the wait. Also found a good appraiser if you need one....
