I'm going to this fly-in this weekend. I'll be there Friday afternoon and Saturday for the better part of the day. Looks like it's gonna be a great event. My plan is to just sit there and watch the world go by. I may have a few beers but mostly just want to relax. It'd be nice to see a bunch of MN cubs this weekend.

    Grant,
I don't have a cub but do have a 172 and a Champ. Hopefully the weather will be good enough to fly one of them there on Saturday. If you need anything while there let me know I live a few miles down the road.

I sure hope so. We were there last night doing last minute mowing and general clean-up in preperation for Saturday. Our EAA chapter is relatively new but does have some excited members. Lots of enthusiasm and a good bunch of guys.
    I'll see you there.

At this point it looks like I'll fly the trike over Saturday morning. I'll have to return home soon though as I have to drive down to pick up my daughter at MSP at 9:50 pm.

I'm not going to say that I'll be there, cause every time I say that lately, the weather is crummy....

So, I might just think about it in the morning.....

Well, it's morning, and it's 200 overcast and a couple miles in fog....Supposed to clear up by ten. Hopefully, I'll see you then.

Looks like we may have a good turn-out for our chapter fly-in.
For those of you coming be advised that the area got 4-5 inches of rain Friday morning and there are a couple of wet spots on the runway......of course those of you on floats can now chose the strip or the lake.
The morning so far is quite foggy so I may have to drive up if the fog doesn't lift soon.
Met Grant last night.....nice guy and has a VERY nice looking Citabria.
    See everyone there!!!

I just got back from Mobergs - What a good time. The fog lifted around 11am and people started showing up. I met some really great people and I am looking forward to next year. I'll have some photos soon.

The fog lifted here about 1:30 or 2:00. Since it was advertised as 9 to 2, I gave up and went to the car show in CKN, which was HUGE.

Not as fun as airplanes and such, but.....

    Maybe the next one...

Due to fog, etcetera, I wasn't able lift off until 1100h, arrived at 1330h. A very nice get together at a wonderful location and lots of great folks. Looking forward to more.

Fog until about noon so we lost over 1/2 the airplanes which was really sad. We had 5" rain 2 days before the event and all the moisture really loused up the mornings. Had fun anyway, missed a few of the attending planes. Grant please add to the post.

I broke my camera not 30 minutes ago....Trying to put a memory card in my camera and i broke one of the pins off in the memory card. I'm going to take it to the avionics shop in the morning and see what i can do. Either the broken pin came from the card reader or my camera but the card is shot until i get the pin out. I have a few pictures with my little camera but they are mostly from the flight up to Bemidji. I'll post them as soon as I get the card working.
