Who is Flying a Prince Prop?

I have been lurking for almost a year gathering info for our project -18. I am interested in running a prince prop on my Experimental Cub, 0-360. What sizes are being run? It seems that the 76/54 that the site offers as the base option is a little small in diameter compared to the p235 or Borer. What sizes are flying in front of o-360's and what do you think of the prop. Thanks for the help guys.

I haven't received mine yet, but I have a 84/44 on order. I hope to have it installed by the end of the month and can let you know more then. I am currently using a Sensenich 76/54 and it is a pig on floats! It is the prop we used to ferry the plane from Florida to Alaska (on wheels) and I haven't gotten around to replacing it yet. I like my Prince prop. Nice people to work with and nice performance of the prop. I have the carbon version and will buy another for another project.

I have an 86" 67pitch running on a Warner 165 radial engine and turn it about 1900 rpm.

I have a Prince 84X44 and its rather doggy off the water, about 15 seconds with two on board and 25 gal. of fuel. I wish I had ordered a 84X42. Flying a Smith kit with a Superior XP360 with roller lifters.

I have heard that he will repitch the prop if it does not do what you want. Have you contacted him about his? How long did it take for you to get it once you ordered it?

I gave him the specifications of the application and he came up with the design. He said if it didn't work he would modify or make another at no additional charge as I recall. It worked perfectly the first time and exceeded my expectations. Two years later I had a surface blemish that he repaired to new condition at no charge other than shipping. He is a very nice fellow to deal with.

Ordered the prop in May, got it in November but Fed-Ex bounced it off the back bumper of the truck upon delivery to me and damaged it. The replacement took about a month.
