Sorry if I have been kinda whiney lately...

Ok folks, I know I have been asking a LOT of questions and sending out a lot of emails, surveys and such about the calendar campaign, the spot giveaway, etc. The reason for this is simply to try to gauge what the heck to be prepared for. Last year, we gave away all the calendars in the campaign. That was nice, except for those who wanted to buy one. I'd like to have a few left over to sell after the campaign, but I know that I can't sell 1000 extras. This is the biggest fundraiser of the year, but it can quickly turn into the biggest loss leader of the year if I don't plan properly. That is why I keep asking questions, and why I really appreciate those of you committing early! It really helps!

We have broken some new records for SuperCub.Org. We are now up to 70,000 visits a month on the site. It was not long ago when the number was 40,000. However, the goal is not to be big, it is to be good. Your generous support helps that!

    Thank you all very much!

I am tempted to get philosophical about "being at the top", it being quite lonely and all, but I will spare you

I can honestly say I have never been around a group of people that I admire and appreciate more - in spite of often having major divergences of background and opinion - than all of you.

It's a real privilege for me to be here!

I would like a calendar but I only want one. I also want to remain at my current level. You don't have that as a choice so I'm out of luck.

But what if one gets damaged in the mail?

I think I got the memo. There is always time for me to improve next year...

Not funny or helpful. I guess I'll just have to take my chances with possible extras for sale.

How 'bout if when we re-subscribe, we state how many calendars we want (up to the offered allotment) and then for sure there'd be a bunch left under your desk.

Last year I had a spare getting dusty, and then I had to mail it BACK to the midwest. I only need 2, (and the reading material would be good).

So, heck yeah, I'm re-upping with an INCREASED pledge, so I can have one in the Home Office, one in W*rk Office, and one each to BOTH of my friends....

    Thanks, eh? cubscout

I do have a number of folks who say "Just send one, or just send x" so if you don't want the full count, please send me an email and I will try to make sure the special requests get taken care of.

Next year I may be able to set it up so that when you renew you can choose how many of what-chu-want based on the renewal level. That would probably make the most sense.

I do appreciate the input as I am always trying (not necessarily succeeding, but trying) to improve.

You know I was thinking of how many calendars I really need and realized how far and wide the ones I and others get are spread. I have one in all my families households here and at the WAD. I send a couple north to Millinocket to my IA and Jeff the airport manager who promptly puts it up at the Millinocket FBO.

Last year from Plymouth Mass I was contacted by the IA who used to take care of the Comanche for myself and George to ask if it was my SC shown on floats at the Zinck Fly In Rumford Maine. He had received a calendar as a gift and had it at his home and just noticed Miss Daisy's picture. He had received the calendar from Tom Constantine.....So how many do I need all of them.
Thanks Steve they are great and I appreciate all of them.

I'm already getting calls from friends who want to know if they are getting another one of those "cool airplanes with big tires" calendars again (most of them are airline or netjet pilots, so they are a bit deprived....).

And it always makes me feel good to walk into an FBO and see "our" calendar on the wall!

If all the checks come in this month I'll be putting in my order shortly.....fingers crossed....
