This is a wonderful location, with fantastic hosts located on the edge of an intermediate tall grass prairie and timber country (for great flying opportunities) in beautiful Eastern Oklahoma. The body of water is the Grand River between Grand Lake of the Cherokees and Hudson Lake. It will be a great time...

Mike,
It looks like Dori and I will not be able to make it - about 90% no. I just don't have the req'd 40 hours flown off yet and doesn't look like I will in time.
We really would like to make it. Please say Hi to all - Eric, etc.

Get to flying and get that 40 hrs over with and come on up, if not get in Dori's J-3 and come on, bring you fly rod and I'll show you where the fish hang out.
After landing tell them you are parking in the SUPERCUB.ORG RESERVED PARKING/CAMPING AREA.
Mike
Mike,
We will give it a good try. The weather has not been cooperating very well.

Well if SJ is stepping across the river to claim east KS then I better step across the line and Claim to be from NW Kansas ans fill in the missing corner. How did the area survive. I hope the tornadoes missed the area. The wife and i are planning on making it there. Bill

The storms missed us & everything is looking good. Glad you guys can make it, after you land be sure to say you are parking in the RESERVED SUPERCUB.ORG PARKING/CAMPING AREA. CTAF: 122.75
Others out there that are coming let us know.
Mike
Mike,
Do you have a activities/flyout schedule?
Didn't know if we need to be there Friday night?? Planned on flying in on Sat. morning..probably be there around 10....sure don't want to miss breakfast!!!!!
Bill, I am based MEJ, 30 miles southwest of Dodge City. We are a little over three hours out of OK18 at 80 knots. As a fellow Kansan you are welcome to 'hop' the border and fly down with us. I am leaning on leaving late Friday afternoon to get there before dark.
Come Fri or Saturday
No schedule but flyouts Sat & Sun for breakfast & lunch to 79F, 3O9 & H04; OL20 is still flooded, we will have a lite breakfast & lunch for those who don't fly out, Sat evening steak dinner and bluegrass music. 3O9 has a convenience store so bring your cooler for goodies/drinks.
See you Friday evening
Mike
Mike.....one more thing. What are the fees to help cover your expenses?
Steve
Steve,
Mike is not charging a thing, but donations will be accepted, and would probably be appreciated.
