rudder locks

Rudder locks when on floats ,on dolly out of water.Any ideas? It is hard to get to top of the rudder.

When it's still on the water, tail it in, put the rudder lock on (still a stretch sometimes), spin the plane around and put it on the dolly. When you drop the plane in the water, spin it around, take off the rudder lock and you're set.

I have done it that way in the past just thought there might be a better way. Thanks steve
