Hi all, Today I got to help fly off some time on a Smith Cub .The plane is a dream to fly. here are a few details.
1. 1206 lbs empty full electric
2.100-105 mph with 74-56 prop. stall with flaps 35-40 mph
3. 160 hp lycoming
4. L-21 version with 4 inch wider fuselage. doors on each side.
5.3 inch taller gear
6.airtech covering method
7.No problems at all for the builder
when the FAA man came to license the plane
last Wed. Dallas office. 51% rule evidently applies .
