    cleaning aluminum before covering wings

im getting ready to cover my wings now, but i was wondering what should be done, or what product is out there that works good for getting the fly stuff off or anything else to clean up the leading edges before i take the pressure washer to them and blowing them out. i dont want to use something that will prevent the cement from holding.

I took stuff off with MEK. Better to use aircraft grade jelly type stripper--a lot less work. Safe on aircraft aluminum, too. So long as you clean everything off nicely it won't affect the glue. Make sure you pick the wings up and really shake them before and after blowing out. You will be amazed what falls out....
