    bushwheel wear

Any of you guys showing any wheel wear? I have a set thats not to old and wore down the outside edges very badly. I know that my good years with low psi were almost as good on floatation. I love the tires but I need to know if anyone has experience with how worn you can use them. They are 31 radials, I use them almost everyday and seldom if ever land on any asphalt I need good floatation for very soft loose dirt. I ran them at low psi most of their life 6.5 to 7.0 any higher and they were way to hard for rougher spots I sure could use some encouragement I like them but they need to hold up longer than 250 hours. Have any of you ever recapped them, I would think some of you guys up north might have some answers. Thanks in advance. Bayne Horne

    PA 18,
I would suggest that you contact the company and explain what you have going on. They are very helpful at Alaskan Bushwheels their number is 1-800-442-8473.

i have probaly 1000 landings on my 31 inch older BW tires. one third on pavement. wear isnt a factor yet as i can see. i also run 6.5 to 7 lbs. unless i am going in on rocks. has anyone made a comparasion between the radials and the standard tires other than performance. on things like wear and how they act in different temps.

Aren't the new Bushwheels available in various levels of rubber hardness? I seem to remember that you could order them with a little harder rubber compound if you expected to spend more time on pavement. I imagine this might have an effect on wear as would inflation pressure.

Might want to check toe in and camber if you are wearing excessively on just the outside.
