    Alternative ways to rib stitching.

    Just curious to hear comments regarding various ways to hold the fabric on. Has anyone used fabric clips..........how bout screws..........what's legal and what's not?? How bout pop rivits??

    Univair ribs can be riveted, ala Cubcrafters. I know guys who prefer rivets for putting on the fabric the first time. I've never heard of anybody that likes drilling them out. I like rib stitching. Mind-numbing work that cuts your fingers is good. It validates that really cold beer IS therapeutic.

    Come on! Ribstitching itself is good therapy! Quite relaxing in it's own way.
    Wait until you've done a set of Pitts wings all at 1" spacing.

    An old duster from SD who actually got me interested in spraying ( still flying at 90) used to set a cub wing on edge with his wife on one side and him on the other, a cold 12 pack available, and pass the needle back and forth.
