There are designated camping sites at the airport and you can tie down your airplane there. Fire rings for campfires. Food establishments are a 5 to 10 min walk from the airport. Fuel is available. Nice spot.

Do you know if Eagle creek is open to seaplanes?
BTW, I went to grad school in Indy, used to keep a Hobie at Hobie beach. Was wondering if that still exists.

Sorry for the delay, Eagle Creek Airport (EYE) does not have water landing facilities and the lake just west of Eagle Creek Airport is not open to seaplanes (unless they are 10 hp or less!). Hobie beach is still operational in summers. Good food at Rick's Boatyard Cafe right off southwest side of airport, 2 min walk at most. Open 7 days for lunch and dinner, no breakfast yet.
