After years of searching for the right deal and saving up money for a down payment I finally found it. 1951 PA-18 140. Bank just called this morning with my pre approval so hopefully in the next couple weeks I'll be flying again.
 
yes, O290D2. My mistake. thought it was 140hp but that's just 5 minute power

calls out the spcs for the various models of the PA-18.
Doesn't the aircraft data plate reflect which model it is (or was)?
